Today we begin our Spare Change Drive. We had a kick-off assembly on Friday. Students are collecting monies that will help save the lives of patients with blood cancer. All donations raised will go directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The class who raises the most will receive lunch from the Olive Garden. More information…

The Brainstormers put on an exciting performance today! Students learned all about creative writing and the writing process. Students have an opportunity to turn in their own creative writing piece. The Brainstormers will read student writings and select stories to perform to the whole school! If interested, your entry is due no later than December 22!
Congratulations to our newest City Beautiful Commissioners, Sarah Oliva and Hassan Aun! The two commissioners will lead the rest of the school towards keeping the environment safe and clean!
Students got dressed up and paraded around the field for their peers, parents, and staff. We had a great time! Thank to our PTA parents for providing students with candy corn popcorn gloves for all students.
Second graders got into the Halloween spirit making witches brew while learning mathematical factors.
Our second graders learned about all types of matter. They learned about the process of liquid, gas, and solid by making pancakes. Through this scientific process, students hypothesized before getting to eat yummy pancakes. After, they wrote about how the pancakes went through each form of matter. Learning can be fun!
