It is that time again! To raise awareness of hunger that faces our community. This year our three high schools will be coming together with a goal of raising 30,000 cans and $7,500 to feed 100 families comprised of 6-8 family members. All cans will be donated to Zaman and the money to the Amity Foundation.
Fordson High School and its feeder schools have set a goal of collecting 10,000 cans and $2,500!
We have three events for this year!
1. Turkey Trot at Ford Field in Dearborn on November 10th from 9:30-11:30A.M. 9:30 starts our one-mile run/walk with family, and 10:00 is a 2-mile run! There will be prizes and snacks provided in the cost of $15 or 15 cans! First, 100 people to show up get T-Shirts! See attached flyer. First Annual Dearborn Public Schools (1)
2. Collecting cans and money November 12-16. Please send all can and money donations to Becker school with your child.
3. Volunteering at Hanini Outreach November 17 at 11am to help with the Thanksgiving meal packaging and delivery!
