The Becker Student Advisory put together an assembly about the importance of standing up to bullying. A powerful message from the kids themselves. We are so proud of our advisory students and all students who stand up against bullying!

Congratulations to  Mohamad and Rokaia for being selected to be Becker’s City Beautiful Junior Commissioners! They are the representatives for Becker and we applaud them and their teacher advisor, Ms. Harb on doing a great job keeping our school clean and beautiful!

Students enjoyed a great day of scares and treats. Students enjoyed indoor trick o treating thanks to our PTA. Student then participated in a Halloween Parade.

Brainstormers came to Becker today to teach students the various forms of writing. Students were able to be part of the presentation. Students have an opportunity to write their very own story and send it to the Brainstormers. Stories that are selected will be acted out in front of the whole school on December 22nd….

Becker Bearcats demonstrated their determination, sportsmanship, and Becker pride during the annual Cipriano Run yesterday. No rain will keep our Bearcats away! Thank you to all of our parents and Mr. Lesniak who cheered them on throughout the process! We are so proud of all of our runners!!!!  

This survey consists of two questions to collect parent feedback on the possibility to pilot year-round school concept in one or two elementary schools. Students celebrated their recent Blue Ribbon Award with a great field day! Students got to come outside and play in various activities and after had some ice cream and popcorn. We are proud of our Blue Ribbon Students!!!!
