Summer Learning at Becker
We will have multiple programs for our students to continue the learning during the summer months.
Early Literacy Program: will run June 20,21,22,23,27,28,29 and 30th (Mon.-Th.) from 10:00-1:00 and July 26, 27,28 from 10:00-1:00.
Summer School: will run from August 1 to August 18 from 9 to 12:00 Tuesday-Thursday for selected students in grades KG through fifth grade.
(Breakfast will be provided)
STAR Summer Time Adventure Reading: Media center (Library) will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM by Mr. Neff. Students may check out books and read at the library. (JUNE 27TH TO AUGUST 19TH)
Summer Homework: All students will be assigned summer homework on Moby Max and MyOn.
Kindergarten Jumpstart: Incoming Kindergarten students will attend the Jumpstart program. The program will take place on Monday, August 22nd through Thursday, August 25th from 8:30-12:00. Breakfast will be served in the Café from 8:30-8:55 every morning.
Soft Start: All incoming kindergarten students will have one half day of school
the first week of school to ease the transition to kindergarten. Students will come to school for a half day until lunch time. Afternoon will be used for parent meetings and student assessments.
