On Monday, March 23rd Iris Becker school and PTA donated a check for $900.00 to Paulette Duggins and the Down Syndrome Guild of SE Michigan. For the past three weeks students and staff at Becker have been collecting coins, donating $1.00 to wear jeans on Fridays and participating in special theme days. Those collections added up to over $900.00. That money donated to DSGSEM will be enough to send two students with Down Syndrome to camp this summer.
